Joscelyne "Josie" Dye (born April 5, 1978) is a Canadian radio and television personality. Dye was raised in Pickering, Ontario. She attended Ryerson University from 1998 to 2001, graduating from the Radio and Television Arts Program. Dye worked as a DJ at MIX 99.9 before joining CFNY-FM. She was married on July 24th, 2010[1].
Dye is currently a popular announcer on CFNY-FM, 102.1 The Edge[2] and host of Cosmopolitan TV’s Oh So Cosmo with Wilder Weir. A classically trained singer, she has opened for Jann Arden.
Dye has hosted the Cutting Edge Music Festival, Wakestock (Canada), Edgefest, and the CASBY Awards. An avid runner, she has endorsed Nike[3] and Apple since 2006. She has been involved with the Easter Seals charity since 2002, hosting and attending many of their events. Currently, Dye is working on Season 1 of Hit or Miss on CMT.
Dye is a prolific public speaker,[4] giving career, motivational and educational speeches to high school and university students as well as to women’s groups, Toastmasters International and the workplace.
